Team News: Certified IPC Application Specialist (CIS) training

Congratulations to Deepali and Melissa – our latest team members to qualify as Certified IPC Application Specialists (CIS).

At Complete Wiring all our staff undertake CIS training, demonstrating our commitment to customer quality requirements, and to facilitate ISO Certification and our own internal Quality Assurance standards. The three-day CIS course includes topics that set the criteria for soldering, crimping, splicing and connectorisation to name just a few.

We take quality VERY seriously here – so much so, that we even have our very own in-house Certified IPC Trainer (CIT) for the IPC/WHMA-A-620 – none other than our Managing Director – Matt Rabbitt!

The CIS qualification and training is part of the IPC/WHMA-A-620 Requirements for Cable and Wiring Harness Assemblies, an internationally recognised program that sets the standard for quality workmanship for cables and harness assemblies. The A-620 standard is set by the IPC in conjunction with the @Wiring Harness Manufacturing Association (WHMA).
