Complete Wiring Secures funding to Enhance Local Manufacturing Capabilities
We are thrilled to have been selected as one of 16 Queensland businesses sharing nearly $270,000 in Round 3 of the Queensland Government’s $1.5 million Defence and Aerospace Industry Development (DAID) Fund. This funding is a game-changer for us as we strengthen our position as a leading manufacturer and supplier of quality custom-designed cables and equipment to customers in the defence and aviation industries.
We were also thrilled to welcome Hon Grace Gace MP, Minister for State Development and Infrastructure, and Don Brown MP, Member for Capalaba on a recent visit to Complete Wiring as part of the announcement.
Enhancing Our Capabilities
The DAID funding will enable us to achieve the SAE AS 9100(D):2016 certification, a critical milestone that will significantly enhance our capabilities and opportunities within the defence sector. As an Australian owned company with a base in Brisbane we are proud to be part of an initiative that helps businesses to compete more competitively internationally, brings more manufacturing processes onshore and creates jobs for local Queenslanders.
Our Managing Director Matt Rabbitt highlighted the importance of the funding for the business. “This funding will strengthen our ability to expand our offering within the defence industry, ensuring ongoing opportunities for our workforce.”
